Yep, good point, FB probably detected that signal. One effect that I have also observed is that when the same person posts repeatedly, the individual posts get less views, I think this is algorithmically determined.

I share that feeling, and I think it has perhaps gotten worse recently - a likely explanation could be that FB is in a pinch when it comes to advertising revenues - so they are less happy about their platform being used for others advertising, so when there are product links they make the posts...

Is cold emailing illegal? I know spam is, but only extreme cases have been prosecuted afaik. I guess we need to define what cold emailing is ? I mean, writing someone you haven't met is obviously entirely normal, something that many of us do all the time without thinking about it.

Another question, hope you don't mind: Could mentioning company or product name in cold emails lead to blacklisting? Say we're using referring to the product that we want to promote "XYZ" - will spam detectors detect and cross reference XYZ and potentially ban based on this content? TIA
