Recently wikipedia became highly sensitive to its posts and you can no longer do whatever you want. I find it hard to believe that an automated tool can succeed as wikipedia usually makes problams after several posts.

High page rank links are valuable indeed, but in some cases, relevant links (such as a music site to a piano site) can be even stronger in some cases. The best thing to do is to take a little bit from every strategy, this is the most safer way. Good luck!
