Let's say I own furniture dot com (I don't). I rank on the first page for "furniture", "new england furniture" and "custom furniture".
But I want to sell more foam beds.
Is it better for SEO and traffic to make several pages on furniture dot com and try to target these beds or make a new site...
I've done both but I haven't done enough to see if there is a pattern.
I kinda think that /%category%/%postname%/ could produce a "silo" structure which might be good as long as there aren't links to other categories or posts (in other categories).
