Those examples have tremendous backlink profiles, worldwide brand recognition, and their own rich results. Some random affiliate site on the other hand would likely benefit more by optimizing for core web vitals. Just my guess though.

Have noticed some change when searching long tail keywords. Google seems to gives me the same results regardless of additional words/context. I don't believe it was to this extent last year.
