Most of these tiktok channels sell t-shirts and other kinds of merch. However, that practice seems a little dodgy since most of them have music from big labels so you're basically making money off of their copyrighted material.
There are a lot of channels within this niche. If you're thinking about giving it a go I'd suggest picking a certain genre of music and try and build up from there. I used to "promote" trailer music back in 2013 and gained a decent amount of views but that was only because that niche wasn't...
I'm pretty sure you need a licence to upload mainstream music, otherwise it'll get taken down immediately - but there may be some other method which is what I'd like to find out.
I've seen multiple channels doing this, one in particular is Pixl Networks. They suddenly started uploading mainstream music which is a 100% guaranteed copyright claim / strike, unless of course they have some sort of partnership or licence. So my question is; how is this achievable?
YouTube, IG, FB don't cost a dime to grow if you're consistent and create a solid brand/personality. As long as you're posting good content those pages will grow. I would take one of your niches and starting building that on IG, then as it grows start scaling it up by creating a FB Page/Website...
Don't just go for the easy options though. Many of the most effective methods require a LOT of time and a LOT of work. You can do anything if you put your mind to it.
