To me the biggest error in judgment was to use ai for publishing decisions rather than for research. If you do not know why people should clicks on ur website getting it published quicker simply means getting un necessary publications.
I had witnessed ranking of bloggers sites hence, I could not pin the failure on the hosting alone. There is usually an other component within the configuration that accounts for the performance differenceas.

I am not concerned about follower numbers anymore. I had seen instances where people who follow me in huge numbers were not buying more from me than people who followed me in lesser numbers.
For me, it is locating sites that are worth spending money on. although many have fairly gud metrics once you dig into their pages, they will be filled with sponsored articles from all kinds of niches making your purchase of that link pointless.
