I still think Adobe IIIustrator is one of the best tools for vector graphics because it's powerful and has many features. But if it fits your work better, apps like Affinity Designer or Figma are also great choices.
There isn't one color that always works best. I usually use my brand colors with good contrast, so the text is easy to read and the main button stands out.
I've had good results using simple custom graphics made in Canva or AI, then editing them to match my blog style. It makes the posts look more unique than using the same stock images everyone else uses.
I try to keep one main focus in every design and remove anything that doesn't support it. Good spacing, clear text, and a few colors usually make the design look clean and effective.
In my experience, most clients care about the final result, not the tools you use. If the design looks professional and fits their needs, they're usually happy.
