IMO does not worries too much about ai detectors. If the content actually answers the query, feels natural, adds some thing useful and people stick around, that was a much better quality check.

If the last niche and audience were valid i will go for the old account. if it have been dead for several years or the audience does not have any relevance then a new one could be much more convenient.

It does not means that missing out on one or two days is going to kill your reach. From my experience posting regularly has more importance as you will always has something for people to see.
