Yess i see what u means. sometimes it was mch easier to generate long tail queries for a reddit thread because of the way the question is answered rather than just using keywords.
Op is right pumping out generic content into an already flooded AI article content market is a non starter at this point. brand and real authority are the only ways that sites can survive the updates.
make sure to check first if they has been killed off in previous core updates since many older web2.0 websites have been stripped of their power. If they are still active u have your own private blog network.
It would have skipped wasting months trying to rank for competitive keywords and instead of focused on ranking for low volume long tail keywords straight away. Traffic builds up much faster this way.
But even a little sized network would not be a real issue for you as long as u have an attractive profile. i could share valuable information, leave comments on relevant sites and get my first contacts this way.
To be honest i am not really concerned about the number of followers. If the people in my net work really matter to what i do a few valuable contacts would be much more important than the number of followers.
I finds it much easier to establish connections rather than receiving responses. there is nothing better in this case than a targeted opening related to some person professional activity.
DR looks gd in spreadsheets but I would always prefer having an actual relevant links from some where on a website that really moves over some arbitrary high DR placement anytime. Page context is really important imo.
In all honesty i let it be if it is doing its job. It is better to spend my time improving pages which were not up to par rather than messing around with a winner.
Experience can help spot patterns faster but I prefer the data to back this up. Some things that seems to be an SEO problem may actually be a typical rank fluctuation.
But for me the problem is more about the tym commitment than whether PBNs were capable of moving a website at all. once u consider finding the domains and re building them, the profit equation starts to change this entirely.
Creating 100s of generic articles on a new topic using ai without gaining any sort of brand authority or back links. fast scaling of poor quality content means quick deindexing.
I care less about its current traffic numbers and more about my ability to make a brand out of it within 2 to 3 years tym. memorable name that is short, concise and with a gud background if the name is aged; generally would not takes more than 20 to 30 minutes making the decision.
tbh I had done better at getting pages that were currently generating impressions rather than publishing pages every week. get the pages which are close to making page 1 optimise them for the exact queries and see the how it pans out.
