You can download individual videos by using either of FireFox plugins: DownloadHelper or Sothink Web Video Downloader. There are more plugins that do the same thing. Otherwise, I don't know of a mass downloader that could do this.

Throw a few articles up on an article directory with the keywords you are trying to rank for in the anchor text of your link. It should add better quality traffic.

Alexa has a toolbar, but also a script that you can put on your site to show the Alexa rank. So maybe... use iMacros to visit your sites every few hours :-) Also Alexa also takes into account backlinks. Just a few ideas.
