    Honesty speaking, I got the most mileage from improving old posts rather than trying to get new ones. All that was required was fixing intent and putting in internal links, which did more for traffic than any new content ever could.

    To me, that means optimizing CTR for pages that are already ranking 5-15. Small changes in titles and meta tags and better search intent correlation usually yield more impact than creating more links at that point
