I was earning awesome money until the 10th of August where a copyright notice put my account in bad standing and as you can see from the 10th of August onwards I have been earnings nothing, I managed to get the copyright retracted and the account is in good standing however monetisation is still...
Video length, a lot of my views were on videos with less than 20 seconds, YouTube hardly ever puts ads on these videos so you make almost nothing. I've started doing 10-15minutes videos and already made $42 just on 3rd of August with 60k views, a vast improvement already
This is my month, considering I started properly around July 20th, I just had an inactive 5,000 subscriber account. Reason for low revenue is because a lot of the videos were too short and also had copyright on them. Plans for next month is to increase revenue 10x and open a dropshipping site...
Cheers that was a thought, there is also the issue of only like 1/10 of views being monetisable, is this because YouTube does not display ads on such short videos?
I've got 80k followers across 10 accounts, one with 20k and one with 12k yet have made 0 so far so yeah, its really good. I don't want to risk turning away followers by displaying ads so early, I want to monetise mine by building my own apps/ecommerce to make more than a shoutout would
