Bounce rate shows you what percentage of visitors are promptly leaving website after landing on it. So, it means that they leave without clicking on to other page inside your site. The lower BR on your site the better.

As you probably know, after penguin anchor text diversity is very important. You can use your variations but you should also include: URL, click, click for info, click for more, related site, visit website, read here, etc... Just make it look naturally, it means that range of anchor texts...

Slow, constantly and quality manually link building is the key. Also, KW diversity is very important, as it's stated above it's unnatural that 50 links (which are build in a few days) pointing to home page with the same KW. Be patient, play smart and results are coming.

Interested in your case study, since I think that duplicate content isn't best solution especially for a long term.
