It's definitely a thing. I met someone using this exact strategy the other day, he showed me his analytics dashboard live and he had a 750m month. IG is behaving quite weird at the moment. Super strict in some areas, but it seems to have opened the door for literal spam.

They did at the time of this OP, but I'm seeing a change in the dynamic of reels. I think this may be a macro issue tbh. There's far fewer outlier reels. When I search the explore page, most of the super big reels tend to be 3-4 months only.

Weirdly, I'm seeing some people use the AI label, when only a minimal amount of the content is AI (maybe the cover image or on screen hook) and they're getting good results. So I don't think the AI label is a hindrance. In some usecases, it may even be a positive.

It does work, we saw the distribution of our reels 10x when we started doing it properly in April. It doesn't seem to work as well these days, but then it may be many other factors also. Reels may just be a more competetive medium now. Still don't fully understand the deal with the Japanese...
