You should be able to crack the top 100 with content alone unless it's a very hard keyword. If it's a hard kw with only a 780MS, I would pass. unless each sale nets you $$$. If it's not a very difficult keyword your content must suck. If it is, choose an easier keyword or start building a PBN.

.NET (I think you mean C# here) is a much more capable and elegant language than PHP. PHP is easier to learn and therefore ubiquitous on the web. Are you making apps or web pages? Use C# for apps and PHP for webdev is a safe bet.

Go is the best language right now for concurrency. It's concurrency features make python's look like a childs toy. It compiles down to native code, and there's also a pretty good selenium webdriver for Go.
