Actually Google makes a shit ton of money off these things, maybe they cannot monetize all adult searches but the searches they do monetize bring in tons of cash. Just Google "sex hookup" - you'll see the page is crammed with Adwords.

It means that any "tricks" won't work anymore because instead of a simple algorithm (or manual human reviewer) going over your websites, it's a super intelligence that's more powerful than any human mind.

Since google is Using ML / AI to rank pages, it makes sense that you could build your own tool to scrape+crawl websites and then find patterns of sites that rank highly. Basically use ML to reverse engineer the Google Algo.

Right, Google will only rank what it sees. If you want more variations to be discovered then you'll need some way for google bot to find them all.

I think that this has already happened. Even though PBNs are still working after FRED, they seem to be a bit less effective... seems like it could be due to that exact reason.

Go for long tail keywords and than work your way to more competitive terms as you gain traffic and traction.

Some tactics are more risky than others. This ranges from things you should never do, to things that are completely safe that Google publicly says are okay to do. All tactics fall somewhere in between this range so you have to calculate your own risk tolerance. If it's one of your own sites...

definitely want something thats 5+ years old. Obviously there are exceptions, but that should keep you safe. PBN domains with big metrics that are less than 2 years old tend to not work out as well.
