Because if most of your traffic comes from their site they suspect you're site isn't legitimate and is spamming Reddit. A legit site would have people coming to it from all mediums: fb, twitter, directly, etc... Diversify your traffic sources.

Good luck Use redirects when spamming Reddit because when they see a big % of your traffic is coming from reddit (I think they use bots and Alexa for this idk) they ban your domain so be sure to use some redirection tools and throwaway cheap domains.
