Obviously I'm sticking to blogs in my niche. I'm adding relevant content and not being spammy but why do you say that alexa is useless? My thought was that guest posts on lower ranking blogs wouldn't help or might even hurt me.

Will commenting on blogs that rank low in Alexa penalize me in anyway? Should I only be focused on commenting to blogs with a better ranking or should I be taking the "more the merrier" approach?
