I'd be more worried about personal information/accounts. Your school won't be happy if you silently starts spaming other systems, ending up on blacklists etc. start changing your passwords.

TOR provides an "anonymous" IP. But the data sent to the exit point is completely decrypted. This creates a huge vulnerability for all the user that are using the network.
It has alot to do with not knowing the limitations of TOR as an application...
If anyone is telling you that you can get that many emails easy then they are lying. It really doesn't have much to do with the country itself, but you need to find a source which it's pretty much up to yourself.
Arguably, this forum is not just for it's old school users. Going traditional may not attract potential new people. The theme of the site doesn't have to disappear just because more modern design is introduced.
