There are services that receive messages on their phones(SIM cards) and then send them to you. You don't need to buy a phone for this.

Sneakers and tickets brokering seem to be very similar businesses. Both of them require fast network, low latency(ping) and good CPU. If you have such machine for sneakers then yr machine most likely should be good enough for Ticketmaster.
