did you get this resolved? I have the same problem, my cell number is out of date and its trying to get me to confirm with text. will the japan thing work if you already have a cell number attached to the fb page?

Hello! my account was randomly sent to verification. it wants me to confirm my id with the text but it has my old number, with no way to change the number. will this method with the japan vpn still work for me? Thanks!
