Have a look at Martin Avis' "Newsletter Success Formula." It looks good. Maybe a generous member has bought it and will make it available.

From a purely seo point of view, they are both fine, as the keyword constitutes the domain, and since Google is pretty indifferent to dashes. From a commercial point of view, it's a bit of a tossup: the domain without dashes is much easier to type in, but the dot com adds a note of prestige...
