Funnily enough, Google Ad strategists were coming on strong during this update. Very persistent in trying to get us to spend more.
I do wonder - does Google punish e-commerce webmasters that are not spending x amount on Ads...

I've got a really bad feeling about this latest update.
I'm going to improve the UX of the website and try some alternative advertising methods.
I'm not sure if I should bother continue link building. Tough decisions ahead.
For those that are suffering, consider taking a break for a week and free yourself from the stress and enjoy the down time. Let the dust settle with this update then get back onto working on your websites. Personally I am quietly optimistic that this "update" / filter is over, the serp results...
Roughly Wednesday 8th June to that weekend.
Impressions (purple) have doubled. Clicks decreased. CTR decreased. Average position decreased. All which have been stable for quite some time.
The quality of the traffic is garbage. Conversion rate has been halved.
We'll give the website some fine...
And lately I've noticed the Google Ads account managers are constantly trying to get in touch too. They're not having an penny from me whilst this shit show continues.
