Fiverr is good for outsourcing covers, formatting, and reviews (more on that later) but I personally wouldn't hire writers there. You're right about nonfiction, though. Unless you're an established brand your book probably won't sell.

The new KU changes were implemented to favor novel-length works so you're better off keeping your novel as one book. Just make sure you have enough cliffhangers at the end of each chapter to keep your readers engaged.
