Because it's not clearcoated. Clearcoat prevents the dip from peeling as easily. However they do make a proprietary glossifier which can be used to provide a glossy finish. Haven't had good results with it though.

A few hours to get it fully done. Maybe 4-5 hours, but most of the time is waiting for it to dry :) I can probably get 2 cars done in the 4-5 hours. That would be kinda hard to beleive since it's actually mine :)
