If you are new to SEO I would suggest on link building that you can search on google for "High DA Do-follow backlinks". You can start link building from those sites as they mention some easy websites for link building. There are different types of backlinks, for example, Profile Links, Forum...

Is someone making backlinks for you? If so maybe it is time to ask him/her what kind of link building he/she is providing.

You can add links if it's relevant to the question. Or you can make your own question relevant to your link and add it later as an answer you might say you found on this (your) site.

I remember the days when keywords were ranked within a day or two. And then Google decided to start changing its algorithm making it now impossible to rank for newbies. I used to have 400k traffic on one of my sites and now it is just around 40k-50k.
