That is quite correct. It is also the problem that I face as well.

It is not that you don't know what to do. You probably do know. But Anxiety sets in. To counter that, inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Do this twice and with your eyes closed on both occasions. Mind you, do not do this while driving as you surely will fail!! :-)
