Sorry, but you will never get any traffic boost by adding your website in the Publisher Center. Your website will not become a Google News website because you added it in the Publisher Center.

You are not "Google News approved". You are just approved in the Publisher Center. A lot of real Google News websites doesn't even have a Publisher Center account linked, so no followers at all.

If you are talking about a Publisher Center approval, it will not drive more traffic. It's totally useless. It's almost not possible to be approved into Google News since 2019.

You think it's easy, because it's totally not "getting into Google News". Just "getting into Google Publisher Center". Your website is not a Google News website after that, sorry.
