    Thesis or Swift???

I am definitely not a Thesis-hater... but I will tell you that we have converted all of our sites away from Thesis. I agree with a previous poster that Yoast (or similar SEO plugins) along with a simple WP theme used and set up properly will be great. Having Thesis limits you to a handful of...

Pay Pal buttons on Word Press not happening

Trust me... WordPress rocks. We use it on hundreds of websites. There is NOTHING that we cannot do inside of WordPress. I would give some links to show, but I don't have a high enough post count to do this. For those who suggest not using WordPress... you are missing out on a literal...

Is anybody use to google local how long did it take before you seen traffic

Do you want to see it move up a lot faster? Build backlins to it and strengthen the SEO on the site your Places points to. Some of the best backlinks for local sites come by using directories and a great resource for getting those is Directory Maximizer. They use reputable directories and the...

Suggest me a fast vps provider

Hostgator has a VPS that is about $49 (including the cpanel option) per month. Go Daddy is about the same price. We have clients that use both of these. Whatever you do... if you don't know much (or if you outsource a lot)... get a host with cPanel and not Plesk. Just my opinion. cPanel is...

    Domain Name Finder

Thanks for the share. I like using these tools to help me get ideas. But ultimately... I know what I want and I use bustaname to give me instant feedback on a domain as I type it in. Hint: Never use a major company like Register, DirectNic, GoDaddy, etc to SEARCH for available domain names.

Website policies and terms and conditions etc

There is a great tool we use to create all our terms and conditions, warranties, privacy polices... and (you name it) more. It is called Auto Web Law. Just Google it. I think JJ Childers owns it now. It is a GREAT resource for exactly what you need... plus you won't have to re-write or...

    wordpress url

Some folks don't like to use their own URLs in emails.... particularly if you have a big list. An option for those cases would be something like: budurl linktrkr (Google both of those.) These are managed solutions where your link is a subdomain off of their domain so you get the best of both...

    DMOZ directory

Apply for the dmoz using their guidelines and a top-level category as one of the previous posters suggested. Then wait. It can take months. In the meantime spend (or get your client to spend) the money for a carefully-submitted submission to the Yahoo directory. Very powerful.

New to blogging, asking for help on what keywords to search for on BHW, kindly help.

Tell you what... there is some great training on keyword research on the Market Samurai website. Not only is that a decent tool for getting keywords.... the training on that tool will give you a great education on doing keyword research. Good luck.

Help With Converting from Website for offline service company

Here are two tips that will make a dramatic difference: 1) Have a headline... and make that headline strong. A cute saying in a banner doesn't count as a headline. Also.... the headline should be above the fold at a minimum and in a big bold font. (Tahoma, Verdana, Impact are all pretty good.)...

    need HELP for my site

Your OPSEO (on page seo) is very weak. Spend a little more time on your home page and the individual pages working on: title tag meta description h1s Also... the URL structure could be better. Focus on ONE thing per page and make sure that thing is a keyword that is worth going after.

Knew there was something up with my blog

What blog platform are you on? I have never heard of that before. One solution would be to go into the database and delete dupes that way. You could probably have someone do this for you for about $5 (as long as they know what they are doing) by posting a bid somewhere. We actually had an...

Just getting started, a few pointers?

If you want to literally TRIPLE the traffic to your blog posts then do everything you can to learn about OPSEO (on page search engine optimization). True, inbound links carry the most weight, but if your page is not properly optimized then you are wasting much of the effects (all other things...

    SENukeX vs. ScrapeBox

Both tools are different. Both 'work' in the hands of experienced users. I agree with a previous poster that if you are just getting started it would be best to buy the results of using these tools from someone who really knows how to use them (while you are in the process of learning them)...

building web2.0's is lowering my rankings... can I target competitors with this?

I agree with ntnsllc. Your link profile MUST look natural. That means: 1) backlinks from PR0s, PR1, no PRs, etc. 2) do follows 3) no follows 4) web 2.0, forums, directories, etc. Also... build your links, but only check rankings once per month and no more.... or you will go crazy. Good luck.
