Ok but this is Linux, does this create a server on Linux which can then connect my windows computer to route all traffic through? I’m struggling to find any form of info on how to route all my windows computer traffic through a proxy (masked ip)

kind of a noob question but how can I use these proxies? I’ve seen in so many places saying these can be a replacement to vpn but no one ever mentions how to apply these proxies in windows to mask the ip, can anyone help thanks
