I thought you have something like 3k visitor dailly,200 visitor dailly should not a problem I believed on common webhost..unless you. Have a heavy duty plugin installed,in wp plugin like stat plugin usually causing high cpu resource usage..I also has a blog with same visitor as your paid only...

If you want to keep wp,Just keep an eye on file modification changes,I allready delete my wp and change to other,since I get tired after constantly getting hacked..plugin like wp file monitor can give you warning when certain file were modified,properly chmod file like index.php,wp-config.php...
