honestly if you are doing wholesale fba and not private label you can start making consistent income off 1 product, amazon do the selling for you, no ads, no marketing just proper research, imagine what sourcing even 1 product every 2 week would do to you portfolio.
i got mentorship about a year ago it really did give me a great head start to move past bs and small mistakes i could have made in my opinion it is really worth it but for the price you are stating is crazy tbh i am still learning everyday even the stuff they cant possibly teach as you learn...
the process of sourcing goods is very tedious and time consuming but like any business you need to put in the hours for success, would not say growth is limited at all if your putting time into it sourcing profitable products and not scraping 5% profit
Just started FBA myself, wholesaling to be exact i have done around $15k in revenue in the first half year of selling, my first 1k came quite quickly (1 month) as i had a mentor to help me get started couple years back but i only got around to fully investing time into it last summer.
