You can have the crappiest built website than ranks higher in search engines. Just look at craigslist, one of the most popular and ugliest website on the planet. If you want to build sites rapidly, use a CMS with all the base functionally already built in which you can expand with plugins...

Look at your local yellow pages or the newspapers for ads from businesses, call the numbers listed or go in person! Build a website and print some flyers, call cards etc. Go on fiver and do some small gigs or even use the forum here.

You should check the developer site for answers buddy. Or use a tool like firebug to locate the CSS class for that line of text and hide it. PM me if you need help.

You can probably do a lightbox that opens up the website in an iframe overlay. Most portfolios just use an image with a description of the project and a link to the site. You can use multiple images in a slideshow instead of one. :cool:

What e-commerce platform are you using? If you're using cPanel you can drag and drop files using the file manager. No need to zip them. You can also change the site URL in the CMS configuration from the sub domain to the root domain before you move the files over. No need to mess with MySQL...

If you want to be trustworthy for sellers to come on board you should buy a legit license for the software. You could also write a small business plan and do as SirSmash said and find an investor.
