Guest posts can also lead to a ton of spam. It all boils down to what your blog is about, target audience and what type of spam guards you have in place. We never allow guests to post. You can still gain traffic so long as you have quality content. Guest posts could help you build content...

What does the cloaker do in regards to facebook use? Never heard of it either.

I think the conversions is the hard part. Click thru is easy but many do not result in a true conversion.

If you want a mail order pride or a ton of spam then myspace is for you. Then again I've been told that the new owners have turned some of that off. Just have not gotten into that site at all.

How does he go about marketing a new blog?

Do not want to, "hide" he links. Wickedguy does not just hide the links, he removes them giving you full control of your footer. Does your css solution just hide it or does it give the same functionality the Wickedguy offers?
