So how do I speed up my site?

I have a cache plugin and a seo image plugin but I am still experiencing very low speeds. My store has over 10,000 products could that be the issue? Also if my buddy press reaches 1,000-5,000 active users will that kill my already slow site?

I am hosting on a godaddy wordpress host. The issue is a have tons of content and my site is running very slow. Speed grade is 72 C

Hi, I am very new to wordpress and I have a few questions. I am building a blog, buddypress, and woocommerce. Will it be smart to build buddy press and woo commerce as stand alone sites? I am scared that attempting to put all 3 on one site will kill my site speed and SEO.
