Is it necessary to use a proxy when uploading the torrent? (legal issues, because you use the name of an artist)

Do you have to upload your torrent behind a proxy for privacy issues? (so you can't be sued or something) Got a great idea how not to use a zip with password but a missing codec they need to download.
