With VPS you're like the 'virtual server owner', you got a lot more liberty as opposed to a hosting company. It has its ups and downs. Why still would you want a different CPanel for every website?

Haven't seen VPS running XP or 7 to be honest. Mostly Linux, and Windows Server distros.

You need proxies that solicit a login with a user and password. Those are private proxies, for which you have to pay 4 rent. You can find suppliers right here on BHW.

Yeah, just remember that you can make http://mydomain.com and http://www.mydomain.com point to different servers, and that's why Google interprets them as such. It's important to have a consistent notation throughout, and redirect from the less-ranked domain to the other one.
