one way to look at functions is that they're an east way of repeating a process.
For example, let's say you want output a particular phrase several times throughout your program. You could put the code to output that phrase inside a function, then call the function.

ginder, if you're going to pursue the method of selling some of your domains and buying them back later, you'll want to make sure somehow that the buyer doesn't do a 301 redirect to a copy of your sites. When that is done, google assumes that the website is being moved to a new domain name...

I am in the process of picking a domain name and I have been doing some key word research. I've narrowed my choices down to 2 EMDs of the same TLD and I would like to hear your input.

Do you have any fact behind this statement? Because a quick search on the interwebz tells a different story. Here's an estimate of the US revenue, expenditures, and deficit for 2011.

wow, that's actually a pretty good idea. You could make each niche a category and each domain a subcategory. That's a really good idea, I'll have to keep that in mind.
