I am using a gallery plugin with WP tho and I need to get the pictures to a certain directory. How does the RSS import work? Does it create them into posts? Can you choose the directory it hosts the images to? Any recommendations on an RSS plugin or is it built in (sorry I am new to WP)

I have found that a lot of the shortener URLs end up getting banned quickly (altho I was re-pinning popular pins and changing the link) So I switched methods of trying to get my 'real' pins repinned with actual links to my site. Do you guys think its better to use a shortener on my legit pins?

If I have a pin on my "main" account linked from the source (my site) and mass re-pin with dummy accounts, will they ban my link as spam? Or is that only if you are changing other peoples pictures and links and sending them to unrelated sites?

I am new to all of this but I would guess simply to legitimize the perception of your pinterest page. You eventually are going to be following/trying to be followed by real people and people are much more likely to follow someone with 10,000 followers than someone with 9. But like I said I am...
