Allot of people use software like DesktopCatcher to drop catch them using API's from DynaDot and other registrars. This kind of software won't beat NameJet or SnapNames..But it will beat hand registering and works pretty well for domains that aren't getting backorder bids.

Are you only looking for a script or are you open to software as well? I would strongly recommend checking out DesktopCatcher before you buy either DropKing or Snatcher. This software blows both of them out of the water and you can run it on a Windows VPS which is virtually the same as running...

My suggestion would be to Google DesktopCatcher and have a look at that. It nicer than both DropKing and Snatcher for the money!
