Fleshing out social media accounts. Interacting with other social media accounts in your field. Have them learn about about html meta tags and how it works with seo and then have them edit your sites accordingly. Just some off the top of my head

I've used mailchimp before and while the interface can be odd at first, it's worked great for my uses.

DownloadHelper firefox addon + Postplanner facebook app will get the job done.
