I'm a naive young man buying my first apartment, how can I avoid being scammed or cheated by real estate agents?

A few things came to mind so thought I would put them here. If i was buying apartment I'd check if any big renovations have been done lately (water pipes, facade, balconies etc.) Would mean I wouldn't have to be paying for that straight after buying the apartment. In the apartment itself, I...

JOURNEY: Building a niche website (almost) from scratch to $1K/month and beyond, while everyone else is quitting the business.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I didn't stop to consider the nature of the sites, makes more sense. I still enjoy seeing some straight traffic to my site, which means 9-10% find my site interesting enough to book it for later reading. Pretty much what keeps me going. :) I'm at the edge at...

How do you handle friends who serve no benefit. But known for long time

After all these years I can count on one hand people I consider friends. I used to joke that friends are people who appear when you are moving to a new apartment and don't expect alcohol. Now with a wife and several kids, I consider friends people who turn up and don't make me consider every...

Once again ty for sharing. :D I tried comparing numbers with you with 28-day numbers but didn't make much out of it. My top content is the new one I've made with AI assistance. Which again I find funny, but also logical since it covers more area than my limited brain so to speak. My crowd...

JOURNEY: Building a niche website (almost) from scratch to $1K/month and beyond, while everyone else is quitting the business.

It started to bother me, so I had to go and look. :D Bing is my biggest friend, which kind of makes sense since I target the US most, and if Big G puts me in the box, that's whats left. Ducky is actually hilarious, as if I still remember correctly, it's 100% based on Google data. So...

JOURNEY: Building a niche website (almost) from scratch to $1K/month and beyond, while everyone else is quitting the business.

Hi again. It was a funny day on 13-14.3.2024. My Google impressions went all the way back to Narnia and never came back, lol. When I started my niche hobby of blogging around the last time I posted here, I got 200 bad blog posts and 10 visitors a day. Now, I have 600+ medium—to okay-quality...

How do you feel like when you get in love for the first time?

It was amazing, for sure, still remember how it felt over 20 years later. I got a wife (a different woman) and kids, but sometimes I still remember those times. Wouldn't trade places, thought, was also a learning experience on maturity.

    Inflation ruined everything

Oh sorry, mixed up words there. I'm on sick leave, based on mental reason. At this moment when construction work is down my company is probably just happy some little foreman is gone.

    Inflation ruined everything

I honestly think that some mornings, I live in an alternative reality. While I was still driving to work, the radio was telling me to buy this luxury product and that. In fact, I'm deep in minus every month with family, and I'm being laid off from work. Lucky for me, before I got laid off, I...

Which skill would be best to learn in 2024 for long term ?

Aside from building CV from a man working in the construction industry in EU, I'd say AI seems pretty interesting with possibilities.

Yeah, I have been checking on your journey now and then even if I haven't bothered to log in. :) To my surprise, it seems like niche blogs are in some kind of turmoil right now, but I still believe in my cause so to speak. :) I'm writing building-related stuff and to understand those you either...

Nice to see you doing a new project Kikerinka, your last (if you didn't do any other journey in between) motivated me to start my blog which has been on hiatus for some years now. :) I have been on it for a month or so as I noticed some people still seem to come by it and seem to find some...

Which would you rather have FREEDOM or guaranteed very low income?

I have to go with freedom as well. It's been a while since I posted here, but the older I seem to get the less I seem to think any kind of freedom exists. :)

Isn't marriage a terrible idea when our brains constantly search for novelty?

Been with my wife for 12 years. She always jokes about how I'll get a younger woman someday, but I'm honestly not interested in dating other women anymore. If I'm someday left alone I'll stay alone. I guess it's a love partnership or something. Hard to say with kids and all.
