Usually 2 to 3 months to see real traffic if you're consistent, what's working now is targeting low competition keywords, publishing consistently & adding backlinks early to speed things up

I always check for a 'noindex' tag left over from the dev stage or a messy robots.txt that blocks the whole site. It sounds basic, but you'd be surprised how many "dead" sites are just hiding from Googlebot. If the site can't be crawled, no amount of backlinking or content will save it.

Tools give you the volume, but Reddit gives you the actual intent and topics Google is pushing right now. I find better low-competition gems on forums than I ever do in expensive keyword tools. Use these sites to see what questions real people have and then build your content around that.

Look into niches that need real world experience like tool reviews, gardening, or local handyman services, anything that requires photos of you actually doing the work will beat ai every time, stay away from general information niches because the bots have already flooded those with junk.
