I use EBN for heaps of sites, I have a massive network so use a lot of hosts, have added 2 from each provider in uptime checkers and so far EBN performance has been awesome. Also almost every site added is in its own unique datacenter from all other sites in my network. :clap2:

As explained above, you simply need to get more links from high PR sites. PR3-4 sites start to be interesting, PR5-6 would be ideal. PR7+ would look a little suspicious in my opinion. I guess you can try guest posting, PR blog networks, paid ads, etc.

You can work for an article writing service... I won't name any ;) You can also write for your own blog. What are your topics of interest? Maybe you could start a blog, write some good content, do some SEO, rank your posts and make some money from them. Just an idea...

Have you considered using Google's 'Disavow links' tool? Would you maybe be ready to change your domain name?

Maybe it just needs a bit more time... I remember doing some SEO work for a web design firm in my early days. It took 6 months for the site to go from Page 2 to #1 in Google. I never thought (at the time) it could take that long. It's been #1 for over 3 years now...

If there is only 1 article, 1 link. If there are more, I would say 2-3 links max...

I like HubSpot's Grader... For backlinks only I use Ahrefs :) They are both very good tools.

A safe thing to do would be to have a date stamp on your pages, so Google knows who published the content first... and who 'stole' it ;)

Well, Google reads the HTML code, not what you see so I'm not sure... I think it's relatively safe, but not ideal either.
