Use Woocommerce for Wordpress. It's well suited for your needs and free.

I for one would expect them to retreat to a shade more like their former models. In their effort to make a more user friendly experience, they have basically strangled the "made for adsense" sites that were bringing them (and us) so much extra revenue.

Dude, do this and monetize the blog. If your info is useful and you can build the traffic, you'll make more money than flipping. You could monetize with ads from parts suppliers or whatever.
Yeah, the above comments are right on.
I wanted to add that you should be asking for all relevant info, order #, payment method/transaction #, etc. in the very first email back to them to save yourself some time.
