Cold email is very different to email marketing to newsletter subscribers. Cold email is when you reach out to companies or individuals who know little to nothing about you or the services / products that you provide. It's very similar to cold calling.

MailChimp tends to be better suited to newsletters instead of cold emails. I usually use MailShake for clients as it does a good job at making the emails appear as if they're sent manually. I would be really interested to find out why people voted "NO".
