I honestly think the most important part in trying to succeed on YouTube is to be consistent. That kind of goes for everything though ^^

Times are changing, everyone is so careful of each other that it's hard to even be expressive because you feel like you'll be judged.

From what I have tried personally, it's probably the easiest/best for you to just go on very popular sub-reddits and post standard content, memes, Etc..

I don't know if you've ever used these platforms before, but they're mostly tools for people with knowledge. The barrier to entry is the same IMO and hasn't been blown off yet. Maybe in the future, but not yet.
