You could also try to target the FB pages set up for the different greek organizations at a handful of universities. From my experience, there's larger numbers of well-off students within the greek system, than outside of it.

An average is unimportant, when those doing IM span the globe. What's the value of a dollar in your country? What's the cost of living in your locale? How much do you need? Want? Stop worrying about others, and answer those questions for yourself.

I'd agree with this. Just start doing. Creating your first site or so, whether it's for local marketing or not, is a great starting point. That being said, what type of skillset do you have outside of this? I'd suggest finding a restaurant job. Hone your sales skills, build relationships...
