I'm positive that no one will see the name you signed up for if you are using a fake/pen name. They won't even see the other pen names that you are using.
For the phone number/address, I've never put my real info there. I don't think you'll have any problems there unless you are going to do...

I have submitted the same articles on articlesbase, ezine, and goarticles without any problems. I didn't even bother to change the titles. I just made sure I was using the same author/pen names on the articles. Although I can't speak for the other directories as I'm not using them.
I tried this one time and submitted 26 pdf files in one night. The next day I found out I was banned for spamming lol. This could work, just do it slowly and don't go blasting articles there.
I haven't touched this method for weeks now and my articles were still bringing sales up to last week...
You could try American Chronicle. I submitted 6 of my articles (the exact same ones I submitted to articlesbase) and they all got approved. It even allows you to put pictures of the product you're promoting. Although I don't know how much weight the site has in terms of rankings or indexing...
I'm not sure but this happens if you have a widescreen display. What version of powerpoint are you using? If you are using powerpoint 2007 try this:
Go to Design, then click page setup. Select "On-screen Show (16:9)" or "On-screen Show(16:10)".
