Back in 2020 I was making a good amount from tube sites just reuploading full videos and putting a custom ad infront of the video and got some good traffic that way

Not sure if they will payout if YouTube flagged your asset for abuse but if you didn't make that much there's a chance it might slide under the rug. also when a asset is being abused they will just remove the asset from Content ID and not YouTube Music
